Terms of Service

This is a template that describes the service as built. Have it reviewed by a qualified professional before public launch.
1. The service
SoundBooster provides a Chrome extension, browser-based audio tools, AI features and optional accounts for saving work. All of it is free to use.
2. Free service and fair use
- SoundBooster is free. There are no subscriptions, payments or paid tiers.
- AI features that rely on outside services have fair-use limits (daily without an account, monthly with a free account) to prevent abuse. Only successful operations count.
- Free accounts can save up to the project and storage limits shown in your dashboard.
2a. Your content
You keep all rights to audio you process or upload. You grant us only the permissions needed to store and process it to provide the features you use (for example, saving a project to your account). Only use audio you have the right to use — including reference tracks and material you separate into stems.
2b. AI-generated content
You may use audio, images and videos you generate with SoundBooster in your own projects, subject to our AI providers' terms. AI output can be unpredictable; check it before you publish. Don't use AI features to imitate real people without their consent, create misleading content, or generate material that infringes others' rights. Artist models may only be trained on photos of yourself.
3. Acceptable use
- Don't use SoundBooster to circumvent copy protection or digital rights management.
- Don't attempt to overload, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data.
- Don't use automated means to exceed usage limits.
4. Hearing safety
SoundBooster can make audio much louder than normal. You're responsible for listening at safe levels. Keep the limiter on and raise volume gradually, especially on headphones.
5. Accounts
Keep your password secure. You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings, which permanently removes your saved projects, presets and files.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided “as is”. Features may change, and some depend on third-party services (such as the AI interpreter or a stem separation server) that may be unavailable. We'll update these terms when the service changes and note the date above.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SoundBooster isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of audio you didn't keep a copy of. Always keep your original files.
