SoundBooster is a set of audio tools built on one idea: the browser you already use is powerful enough to make sound noticeably better.
What we make
A Chrome extension that makes any tab louder and clearer, a mastering workspace you can talk to, and a library of everyday audio tools — equalizers, meters, converters and editors. They share one processing engine, so a setting means the same thing everywhere.
How we build
- On your device first. If audio can be processed in your browser, it is. Your files don't travel unless a feature genuinely needs a server, and we say so on the page before anything is sent.
- Real processing, labelled honestly. Every control does something you can hear. Where a feature is a prototype or depends on a service that isn't connected, the page tells you.
- Measured, not guessed. Loudness is measured to ITU-R BS.1770 and EBU R128, peaks are true-peak oversampled, and A/B comparisons are loudness-matched so “better” doesn't just mean “louder”.
